Pairs Challenge, Saturday 28th August

On the afternoon of Saturday 28th August, a Pairs Challenge event will be held as a warm up to the NSW Schools Championships/State League 11 events on Sunday 29th.
The format if the event will be as follows: Teams of two to complete four courses between them (approx distances): Blue 2km
Green
3km
Orange 3km
Orange/Red 4.5km
The team nominates which person runs
which courses,
eg person 1 runs blue and green courses and person 2 runs
orange and orange/red courses. It will be like a two person relay but
each person runs twice, but not consecutively. To enter, email names of team

27th August. WHEN: Pairs Challenge Registration 12:30pm
Pairs Start 1:30pm
Enter On Day courses 2:00-2:30pm
Controls collected from 4:00pm
LOCATION: North East corner of Belanglo State Forest-
allow 20 minutes from the Highway. Follow orienteering signs (right into Dalys
Road follow to the end of the pine, turn right into Northern Firebreak Rd,
follow to parking/assembly/start and finish)
No Toilets, some water at the assembly.
All competitors need an SI Stick- hire fee $2.
Entry Fee : Pairs Challenge $20 per pair- pay at
Registration. EOD $12 per course.
Entry open to all
orienteers not just juniors.
Compete in an event with a difference. Fund
