Membership

Although you are welcome to come and try orienteering at any event on the calendar, longer term involvement requires joining the Orienteering Association via your local club. To ensure you receive regular notification of coming events, social activities, training, results and general information of interest to orienteers you are invited to join the club of your choice.

A Membership Form and Club Directory (including a list of the Orienteering Clubs in NSW, current membership fees and contact details) are available for download below:

Forward the completed Membership Form to your selected club together with the membership fee as listed. Membership of the Association is possible only through one of the clubs and cheques should be made payable to the club concerned. Contact the club for electronic payment options.

Where a club has a particular geographic identity, this is shown, but there is no requirement that you join the club in that area. Having friends in a club that does not identify itself with your area, for example, it is quite a valid reason for joining that club.
